Well, we're moving....again. I'd like to think that this is the last time for a while, but I'm betting it will happen again next summer. What a bummer! I can't wait until the day we move into a house that will be ours and we can stay for years and years. Anyway...Our Internet will be out of commission for a few days but once every thing's up and running, I'll post some pictures. Wish me luck! :)

Dr. Mom
My friend's sister made this blog and it's awesome so I thought I'd share it with you! It's called Dr. Mom Essentials - Jenni’s secrets to being Dr. Mom at home, and having effective, natural medicines for emergency preparedness. In one of her posts, she said, "With the economy the way it is, I wanted to make sure I was prepared with some extra tools with which to take care of my family." I love to hear of the experiences she has with natural health care. And the funny thing to me is that her husband is an ER doctor. It's not very often you come across two people who have such differing medical opinions! She talks about doTERRA Essential oils in her posts, which is something I've recently started using as well.
J. was sick with a pretty bad cold a few weeks ago and I went to the pharmacy to get something to help elevate his symptoms but the pharmacist said that there's nothing to give a child his age. He actually said that he just has to "suffer through it". How crappy is that! When I heard about the oils a few weeks later I knew it was something for me. Next time he's sick I'll have a way to help him feel better with out the side effects. Plus they have an incredibly long shelf life, which is great for emergency preparedness. I always worry about the food side and not the medicine/TP/Clothing part. I'm slowly building my stock pile. Anyway... Check out her blog. I really recommend it!

Birthday Party Pictures
J. had 2 parties this year. What a lucky boy! We had a small family birthday party on his b-day (thanks grandma K. and Lindsay!) and then his "official" one about a week later. He kept thinking he turned 5 at his 2nd party. Time goes by fast...but thankfully not THAT fast!
We started out the day at our house. We had some cake and made "cold stone" ice cream with frozen stoneware. I think everyone enjoyed making their own flavors. After some presents, we all went to Jumpin' Jacks. It was super busy, but we all had a great time.

Birthday Boy
Today is J.'s 4 birthday. I can't believe he's 4!! I remember there were days when I couldn't wait for next month, next year, etc. but time moves much too fast! I'm ready for to slow down and simply enjoy NOW instead of always wishing for tomorrow. I'm so grateful for every minute I've had with my son and I look forward to every minute to come. He is such a blessing to our family and as time goes on I understand more and more what a miracle he is.
