I have seen so many cute hair bows and flowers worn by sweet little girls. For years I said to myself that someday I'll have a sweet baby to buy and/or make them for. Well, apparently it's not to be and I was feeling a little sorry for myself every time I saw those hair pieces. I know...I'm pathetic.
I have recently come to the conclusion though, that I really am fine with only having one child. I'm tired of obsessing, I mean, thinking about something that I can't change. I have wasted so much time wishing I had been dealt a different hand. I have one GREAT little guy and I get to focus on enjoying him. I've found that I've had to completely rewire my way of thinking in this regard and I've began realizing all the positives prospects that lie ahead.
But I digress...the other day I realized that I don't have to make them for my own daughter. Duh! Maybe my nieces would like something? Well - I set to work making these:
They took me FOREVER and when I was done I got looking at them and wondered...are they UGLY? Would I ever put them in my daughters hair? I really can't decide. What do you think - honestly?

Its not like you're OLD! Sheesh! You could still have a kid anytime in the next 10 years. Just don't worry about it, if its right it will happen.

For a long time I never thought I'd have a daughter. I was used to boys. Then I was surprised - you never know.

Baby situations...I do not personally know what you are going through. But have enough friends that do to know it is not an uncommon thing. It breaks my heart to know so many people who would be and are great parents but can't seem to have that wish granted! I wish I could make it better :(
