I went to Costco yesterday and Lehi Roller Mills was there doing a booth. I thought it would a good time to buy more wheat for my home storage. Unfortunately, they had sold out already. The girl at the booth said they were having a hard time keeping it in stock at the Lehi store also.

No big deal...I had an appointment at the dry pack cannery today...and I could just buy some then. When I got there all they had was Potato flakes, cocoa, sugar, and onions. Their warehouse was virtually empty. They didn't know when they would be getting anything.

There's always places like Emergency Essentials, right? Wrong! My mom went to the one in Orem for me on Wednesday, but they had practically nothing also. I did get a wheat grinder though, which is good!

So, where to get some wheat...for a descent price? I found out that Lehi Roller Mills is doing a "road show" at many of the Utah Costcos, so if you want to get some, just call them and find out when they will be at that store. They were selling them for about $24 for a 45 lb bucket, which is a pretty good price now-a-days!

When I started looking for wheat, I had no Idea how difficult it was going to be. Is it only difficult for me...or have you noticed too? What do you think the reason is for all the chaos?
